OBJECTIVE: 500 women empowered through skills training and seed capital
BACKGROUND
The project “Trash to Treasure” is about using waste products and trash in our society and adding value to them by turning them to something valuable which is sellable as Income Generating Venture. Most people do not see the opportunities in our environment to engage them for their economic use. This project therefore shall involve helping targeted women see such opportunities around them and also giving them skills to be able to turn trash and wastes around them into useful and valuable products that can be sold at an economic price. This therefore also promotes recycling of wastes and reducing wastes around communities thereby improving our environment.
